95 Points Decanter. This vintage exemplifies the power of site—its impeccable drainage lends striking clarity and precision to the wine. Vibrant and finely etched, it opens with crystalline red fruit—think wild raspberry and red currant—layered with notes of dark cherry, cocoa nib, and a subtle graphite edge. Firm, finely woven tannins and bright acidity lend a taut, old-school Napa structure, reminiscent of classic Barolo in its tension and age-worthy grip.
