Winemaker Reid Griggs is a student of his craft. He came to Lawrence Wine Estates in 2023 after learning from the best: Harlan Estate, MacDonald Vineyards, Dalla Valle, Ridge, and the cult St. Joseph producer Domaine Pierre Gonon. He makes the wines in a classical, terroir-driven style that prioritizes grace and delicacy.

A native of Cupertino, California, with a graduate degree from UC Davis, Reid is a precise winemaker, thanks to a lifelong interest in science and reverence for the natural world. He is perfectly suited to his role as winemaker for both Burgess and Stony Hill.

A native of Napa Valley, Marcos Coronado grew up in a family immersed in farming and agriculture. Transitioning from vineyards to hospitality, he quickly found his passion and pursued it full-time. He embraces approachable hospitality and enjoys sharing not only the rich history of Burgess but also of the Napa Valley. Outside of work, Marcos enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and exploring restaurants.
