Description: This wine was produced from grapes grown on our hillside vineyards--one on the western-side of Howell Mountain and one of the eastern-side. The vintage of 2005 ws a banner year. Heavy rains produced a record quantity of fully-matured fruit. Dense, rich flavors of black and red fruits; incredible complex, mouth-filling and slides smoothly across the palate. The core of blackberries, cassis and cherry lead to cocoa, vanilla and spice finish. A dynamic, lush wine. A perfect match when served with any grilled or roasted red meat.
